1. Full name and contacts

Everything is very simple here. Do not use your work e-mail for communication – specify a personal one or create a separate one for job search. Be sure to check that your e-mail matches the format of the name, and did not offer to write some fluffy hare.

Add links to Facebook, LinkedIn or other professional networks, such as Behance. Pointing personal profiles on social networks, carefully check their content in order not to get into an awkward situation.

2. Summary

This paragraph should answer the questions why you should be invited to an interview and whether it makes sense to go into the resume. His goal is to focus the attention of the employer / recruiter, immediately highlighting your professional goals, experience, expertise and personal qualities. If you do not make it clear that the company will be useful, you are doomed to failure.

3. Work experience

Start from the current or last job, moving to a more ancient one. Remember: you only need to specify the experience relevant job for which you are applying. If you don’t have one, consider writing a functional resume and focusing on skills, not on jobs.

4. Education

Point out the education that is relevant to your job and career goals. Include not only basic, but also profile courses, trainings, etc. A little dive into the details and tell how what you studied at the university or on your own will be useful to you in your work. If your basic education is not related to the job you are applying for, briefly state the reasons for changing your profession.

5. Skills

It is worthwhile to approach this block very responsibly, since it is for your skills that you will be paid money. Indicate your basic qualities and skills necessary for the position you are applying for. Here, in which programs you work and what languages ​​you speak.

It would not be superfluous to mention your interests. They will help the employer to understand what kind of person you are and how you will join the team. Important point: it is better to indicate hobbies that are directly or indirectly related to the desired position. Either your interests should be truly unique, and not just “in my free time I prefer to read books and listen to music.”
